New plugs in place of the originals gave a noticeable increase in oomph even though it always ran well. C leaned the MAF sensor as well. still get an intermittent change engine light indicating runnning lean.
This C orvair did not meet my needs. However, its a steal at the $1250 asking price. R uns and drives too. It is however closer to M ontana than it is to me.

There once was a town in Saskatchewan,
Where a young man did title himself Padawan.
His father, to his shame,
Knew who to blame:
Himself, for naming his son Obi-Wan.

I’d love to get my hands on that Corvair.
I need to clean the MAF in my truck as well. I've never done that. What's the proper way to do it?

1) I wish my ‘03 Silverado was that straight.
2) I’ve always wanted to do an RSR style build on a Corvair and go 911 hunting.

Maf cleaner. I think it’s the one you can mess up with carb cleaner. borrowed a can, 5 squirts. stuff evaporates instantly.
